PEP has been awarded multiple Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference Gold Nugget Awards for our work, as well as the Association of University Real Estate Officials’ national “Project of the Year” award. In 2012, CEO Frederick W. Pierce was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2013 he was recognized as one of 24 “Student Housing Pioneers” by Real Estate Forum Magazine, and in 2016 The Daily Transcript named him one of "100 Influential Leaders in San Diego." Since 2010, PEP has annually been ranked by Student Housing Business Magazine as one of the Top 25 Owners and Managers of Student Housing in the U.S.
