Company Overview
Southern Regional Veterinary Emergency Services is an extension of our specialty surgery practice in southeast Alabama. SRVES provides emergency care nights, weekends and holidays. We work with referring veterinarians to assist them in after hours care. SRVES operates under the philosophy of providing patients and clients with "Compassion, Skill, and Service". The emergency practice has the surgical support of the adjoining surgery practice for consultation and surgical assistance.
Company History
Dr. Martin, the owner, returned "home" to Alabama after servicing in the military and teaching at Virginia Tech for 25 years. His initial desire was to provide specialty surgical care in the wiregrass area and serve area clients. Shortly after opening the surgery practice, Dr. Martin was approached by area practitioners to open an emergency practice too. Once the emergency practice opened, it has continued to grow each year as the community and veterinarians see the benefit of having a consolidated emergency clinic.
