Thrive Physical Therapy was selected as the best Physical Therapy Practice in Central VA from 2014-2022. THRIVE PT is a specialized manually based orthopedic, spine, and sports physical therapy practice that provides individualized care to its patients.

Company History
Thrive was founded in 2005 by the husband and wife team of Clarke Tanner and Tara Cattaneo out of enthusiasm for helping people and a desire to assist others in reaching their potential. Our mission was to create a unique company that would promote health and wellness, assist our patients, clients, and team members to thrive.
We have a positive track record. For example, we have consistently ranked in the top 2% nationally in outcome rankings for decreased pain, improved function, and satisfaction scores. Additionally, we have received numerous honors and recognitions, including being voted many times Best Physical Therapy Practice in Central Virginia. Our practice has evolved over time to achieve its current high standard of care. Years of adapting to patient needs, continual study and overcoming individual personal challenges have all contributed to advancing our knowledge base at Thrive PT.
Our treatment approach comprehensive and patient centered. We have an appreciation for, and understanding of, the multiple factors that contribute to a problem and utilize the mind-body connection to resolve it. We strive to help our patients overcome their current challenge, but also to give them the tools and guidance to remain healthy long-term. In addition, we have created comprehensive wellness programs to help our patients reach their goals and thrive throughout their life-long wellness journey.
