Company History
The firm was established in 1940 by Murph Wilson, a former Mayor of Tyler and Trustee of the Tyler Independent School District. Other firm members have continued the Firm's tradition of distinguished service in local civic and community involvement. One of the firm's previous members, the Honorable William Steger, served as Senior Judge on the United States Court for the Eastern District of Texas until his death in 2006. The Honorable Otis T. Dunagan, after his retirement as Chief Justice for the 12th Court of Appeals in Tyler, served Of Counsel with the firm until his death in 1983.
