Company Overview
A unified school district with a school enrollment of approximately 4,800 students and an annual overall budget of approximately $100 million, the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools (WRPS) includes seven K-5 elementary schools, a middle school serving grades 6-8, a senior high school serving grades 9-12, an at-risk alternative high school for grades 9-12, virtual programming for grades 4K-12,
and an early childhood/4K center which includes on-site programming and a community-based 4K program hosted at off-site locations through community partnerships with local organizations. Strong community support has allowed the passage of two referendum questions in 2021 ($34 million capital / $2 million per year operational for five fiscal years through 2025-26) to provide significant
building and security upgrades and cover operational expenses for technology and curriculum purchases.
With strong community partnerships, the District has been able to enhance its academic and co-curricular offerings for students. Numerous awards at local, state, and national levels have been achieved every year by students and staff.
